Rotary Projects

Since its inception, the Ducky Derby has raised more than $150,000. Over 97% of the proceeds from the Derby directly benefit the projects supported by Camas‐Washougal Rotary:

  • SHARE House: Our club provides volunteer and financial support to this outreach program for the poor and homeless in our communities.

  • International Youth Exchange – Inbound Student: Our local club has sponsored an annual exchange student by providing program funds and a family to live with.

  • International Youth Exchange‐ Outbound Student: Our club sponsors local youth interested in taking advantage of the growth opportunity living and learning abroad can offer them.

  • Meals on Wheels: Our club takes responsibility for a delivery route each week bringing nutritious meals to seniors and disabled people in our community.

  • Walk & Knock: Our club provides major volunteer time for this annual food bank drive.

  • Polio Eradication: Our local club participates actively in the Rotary International effort to eradicate polio in every corner of the world.

  • Scholarships: Each year, at least $8,000 goes directly to support local area high school student scholarships for higher learning.
