- The Camas‐Washougal Ducky Derby is staged on the beautiful Washougal River between Camas and Washougal.
- The event promises the thrill of a race, the pure fun of sports entertainment and the reward of knowing the proceeds will support Rotary projects, both locally and internationally.
- With the entertaining style of the event and the competitive spirit of the race, the Derby is a memorable occasion for everyone involved.
- Adding to the excitement, the Derby is held the fourth weekend in July, the same weekend as the Camas Days festival, which attracts tens of thousands to downtown Camas.
Ducky Derby begins on the Third Avenue Bridge over the Washougal River when a front‐loader tips its bucket and unloads 5,000 plastic ducks into the water. From there the current takes over and the ducks dash to the finish line. The fastest ducks down the river win fantastic prizes for those who have adopted them!
Where do the proceeds go?
